More Than an Audience.

Questions, Answered.

TEDx is a grassroots programme of locally organised events, operated under license from TED, that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. The x means it is an independently organized TED event.

is the first-ever TEDx event at Kwara State University, an inaugural, one-day, curated gathering on November 14, 2026, themed Beyond the Machine.

Artificial intelligence has moved from experimentation to everyday reality: writing code, producing art, and reshaping entire industries. But technological capacity alone cannot answer questions of purpose, responsibility, or human identity. Beyond the Machine moves past the hype of what machines can do, exploring what their rise means for people, institutions, and our collective future.

Anyone with a general ticket. The room is designed for 100 minds across six profiles: designers & creatives, researchers & technologists, entrepreneurs & innovators, educators & academics, students & young builders, and community & ecosystem leaders.

Attendance is strictly capped at 100 seats. The capacity is a deliberate design choice: an intimate room built for deep, organic idea exchange.

The official 2026 merch collection — tote bag, tee, cap, sticker pack, and jotter — will be available through the store linked on this page. Follow our socials to be the first to know when the drop goes live.
